ProfessorResearch
My research aims to improve the continuity and safety at micro-, meso-, and macro-levels of care through development, testing and implementation
of methods and tools that support integrated care processes and patients' active participation in their own care.
This multidisciplinary research drawing on knowledge from caring sciences, psychology, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT), targets people living with complex and chronic conditions. Users from target groups and health care organizations are engaged in methods and design throughout study execution. One trace of research includes sleep quality and sleep pattern in children at an early age and its relation to family pattern and behaviour in families at risk. Mixed qualitative and quantitative-driven designs are used, ranging from exploration to testing of evidence in randomized controlled studies, and implementation research.
