Mirka Kans
Associate ProfessorI have been active in teaching at Växjö University/Linnaeus University since 2000 within subjects such as maintenance management, industrial information systems, project management, and research methodology. In addition, I have been tutoring students on all levels of education. I received my MSc in Computer Science with specialisation in Informatics 2003, the PhD in 2008 and the Associate Professorship in 2013. The research is focused on data and IT requirements for maintenance management, how to support the digital transformation of the industry, and higher education development. I am active in developing the education practices and curriculum according to student centered and active learning concepts in close collaboration with industry, and am engaged in pedagogic development projects according to the CDIO concept.
