Olle Hammar is an assistant professor in economics at Linnaeus University in Växjö.

He is also a researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm, and affiliated with IZA, IFN, UCFS, UCLS and Uppsala Immigration Lab. Previously visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia University.

Olle obtained his PhD in economics from Uppsala University in 2021. Between 2021 and 2023, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN).

His main research areas are inequality, migration and culture.
