Educated within industrial design, I critically examining the role of the designer in a world where a lot of the problems we're facing, like climate change, poverty and inequity can be traced back to design decisions.
Teaching
I'm a senior lecturer at the Master Design + Change Programme at Linnaeus University, department of design and my focus lies in critical posthumanism and design.
Research
I hold a PhD in Art, Technology and Design from the University of Arts, Craft & Design (Konstfack) and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). My dissertation, Mineral Matterings: Diffractive Practices of Design (2024), makes design perceptible as a source of concern, part of the extractivist logic, while examining hopeful tools and approaches through diffraction.
