I work as a research assistant within the international project: Psychosocial Support for Promoting Mental health and wellbeing among adolescent young carers in Europe (ME-WE). The aim of ME-WE is thus to make a positive contribution to adolescent young carers´ mental health and well-being. To achieve this, a primary preventions support intervention with a focus on resilience has been co-designed and will now be implemented and evaluated in six European countries, namely Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. My role as a research assistant is to facilitate and coordinate focus groups with young carers, assist the researchers in daily ongoings, and to develop a mobile application together with subcontractors for the primary prevention support intervention.
Prior to my employment at Linnaeus University, I graduated from Uppsala University with a Bachelor and a masters degree in Political Science from Uppsala University. I have also interned at the International Department of the Swedish Parliament and the Swedish Embassy in Sarajevo. Prior work includes communication assignments for the Swedish Family Care Competence Centre.
