Sharnil Pandya is a Researcher at the Department of Computer Science and Media Technology, Linnéuniversitetet, Sweden. He has done his doctorate in the domain of Internet of Things and Masters in Infomation Technology from Swinburne University, Australia. He has teaching experience of 12 years and various subjects in the domain of AI & Datascience and Embedded systems. His research interests include AI for Sensors and and Infomation Processing, AI for Wellness, AI for Acoustics and AI for Computer Vision. He has a special interest in inter-disciplinary research and projects. He has more than 90 papers published/presented in reputed international conferences and Sci journals to his credit and 4 published patents.

   Sharnil Pandya is a winner of prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoc Fellowship for the year 2022. He has received prestigious Horizon 2020 research project grant of € 222,727,68 as a co-Investigator, sponsored by European Union. He is also a reviewer for reputed journals such as, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Internet of things, Scientific Reports, Nature, IEEE Sensors and serving as academic editor in venues such as JBHI, Sensors, Electronics, Journal of Healthcare Engineering, Frontiers in Computer Science, IEEE Sensors, etc. 

Research Area: AI for Sensors and and Infomation Processing, AI for Wellness, AI for Acoustics and AI for Computer Vision.

Currently I am working as a Co-Investogator on the Horizon 2022 project titiled "A Novel Framework for Contactless Diagnosis and Forecasting of Cardiovascular Diseases". The project has received a research grant fund of € 222,727,68 from the EU.
