I hold a PhD in Geography with emphasis on physical geography from University of Gothenburg.
I am a member of the The LNU-Africa network that aims to bring together faculty and staff working with and on Africa with the purpose to share information, activities, research and experiences in order to promote interest and knowledge about Africa and facilitate cooperation with Africa.
Teaching
I am teaching with the field of geography and didactic at the department of Cultural Sciences.
Research
My research focusses on rural livelihoods mostly in the Ethiopian highlands. But I have research in Global South in general and the African continent more specific. More in detail I analyze climate changes such as rainfall variations, land use changes in rural areas and farmers livelihoods strategies.
