I work as senior lecturer and researcher at the Department of Health and Caring Sciences, in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.  

I am associate researcher at the Swedish Family Care Competence Centre, SFCCC, of the Linnaeus University, contributing to advance research related informal carers health, wellbeing, support and situation as carer. Currently, I am focusing on a branch of a Skandia financed project, which aims to explore, deploy and test support for working carers to improve health, wellbeing and work-life balance. Also, on the AppCC project (App for COPE and COAT) developing and testing a support application and service for supporting carers. I am also a co-researcher and co-supervisor in two projects. First, a project about “carers for older people as partners in research and development”, part of the UserAge programme “Understanding User Participation in Research on Ageing and Health”. Secondly, a project about “enhancing health and wellbeing for older people and their informal carers by the use of new technology”, affiliated with the programme for Sustainable Care: Connecting People and Systems, an international collaboration with seven other universities, among them, Linnaeus University.                                                                                        

Furthermore, I am a co-researcher in a clinical project developing optimal mealtime environments in nursing homes coordinated by the Center for Collaborative Palliative Care.
