I am a trained furniture designer and cabinetmaker with a broad and diverse range of expertise that spans from fine carpentry, interior design, housebuilding, and art projects to work with exhibitions.
Sustainability has always been an inherent part of my work, both in terms of material choice and implementation. In recent years, aside from my teaching role in the Design + Change programme at Linnaeus University, my focus has been particularly directed towards reuse in various forms. Examples of this include my work with Macken Design, the planning of Återbruksbyn at Norremark in Växjö, as well as the initiation and course leadership of Återbrukskursen, a Tiny House building course in collaboration with Macken, Tyrolen, and St. Sigfrid's Folkhögskola.
At present, I divide my time between teaching and research at the university and my work with my own interior design company, Koncepteriet. Sustainability, the use of eco-friendly materials, and locally sourced resources are also central to our work here.
