Senior lecturerHours for student consultation:
Until further notice I ask you to contact me by mail (tobias.schauerte@lnu.se) to book a time to meet.
Teaching
I am program director for the Bachelor program in Industrial Engineering and some related courses, like e.g. industrial engineering, strategic management in manufacturing industries, material and production control etc. Some of these course are held in English.
Further, I am responsible for the distance course Production Management for Professionals, 30ECTS, in cooperation with Campus Ljungby. This course is in Swedish.
Research
My main research interest is the industry for wooden houses, including its markets, in which I have more than 15 years experience. Here, focus lies on industry studies, production development and- efficiency, development of business strategies and issues of internationalization.
The latest contributions were about a new fixture system for window installation that even allows for automating this operation.
