I am a senior lecturer in science education at the Department of Biology and Environmental Science. I hold a PhD in Science Education and have previously worked as an upper secondary school teacher in chemistry and mathematics.
Teaching
Primarily I teach within the teacher training programmes, in the areas science and science teaching.
Research
My research interests mainly concern teachers' professional development. One area of research concerns science teachers' development of their teaching to integrate socio-scientific issues into science education. Another area concerns preschool teachers' development of teaching for sustainable development.
