Certificate of Registration

• Shows the courses you are currently registered for and those you have previously been registered for at Linnaeus University.
• You can use this certificate, for example if a landlord wants confirmation that you are a student or if your unemployment fund requests documentation showing the extent of your studies.

Official Transcript of Records and National Official Transcript of Records

• Shows courses and modules with passed courses, as well as transferred credits.
• This certificate can be used when applying for jobs to show your academic achievements.
• You can choose to print a National Transcript of Records, which shows passed courses, modules, and transferred credits from all Swedish universities using Ladok, or a Transcript of Records showing only results from Linnaeus University.

Course certificate

• Shows that you have completed a course with a passing grade
• Only issued for one course at the time
• Contains the same information as an Official Transcript of Records

Certificate of Anticipated Participation

• Shows programs and courses you have been admitted to but are not yet registered for at Linnaeus University.

Certificates for Former Students

If you are a former student and no longer have a student account, you can still log in to Ladok for students to create Certificate of Registration and Official Transcript of Records, if you have a Swedish BankID.

How to download certificates in Ladok for Students

1. Log in to Ladok for students using one of the available login options:

• With an active student account via your university.
• Via eduID.
• Via your account at universityadmissions.se.
• If you are a former student and do not have any of the accounts mentioned above, you can select the option “Ladok for alumni” when logging in and sign in using BankID or Freja eID+. Registration certificates cannot be downloaded when you have logged in with the option "Ladok for alumni".

2. Click on the tab “Trancripts and Certificates”. Here you can download new certificates and view previously downloaded ones. If you would like to apply for a Course certificate, choose the option "Degrees and certificates" (not available if you have logged in through Ladok for alumni

• Certificates can be downloaded in Swedish or English.
• Each certificate offers different options for filtering and additional selections.
• When you download a certificate, it is saved in Ladok and displayed on the page throughout its validity period.
  Note: If you open a previously downloaded certificate, it is the same version as when it was created. To include any new information added since then, you need to download a new certificate.
• All certificates you generate yourself in Ladok are verifiable. This means you do not need a signature or stamp from the university to confirm authenticity.

Each certificate includes a unique code and a link to a verification page. The person or company you send the certificate to uses this to check that the certificate is genuine. Course certificates are e-stamped and can be verified through Ladok's website.
