Faculty of Arts and Humanities
Information about exchange studies
Take the chance to do parts of your education abroad! Depending on your study situation you can do either one or two semesters abroad.
There are many advantages in going abroad during your studies. You develop academically, get international experiences and competences, establish contacts, get friends for life, develop your language skills and grow in the meeting with other cultures.
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities arrange information meetings about exchange studies every year in October. During the meetings we go through not only the exchange studies process, but also what brings a successful study period abroad.
International possibilities at the faculty
The Faculty of Arts and Humanities works actively to make sure the education is as international as possible. Part of this is to offer good opportunities for teachers and students to do parts of their studies or work at partner universities or other institutions abroad.
We also work with internationalization at home, which give you the possibility to meet teachers, researchers and students from other cultures and environments in your daily student life.

Faculty of Technology
Here you meet students, teachers and researchers from all over the world. We have a long tradition of international exchange and through the years we have built up a great number of partnerships throughout the world. Thanks to these partnerships both students and staff have several possibilities to study, research or teach abroad.
We also aim at creating an international profile at home. Today we offer about 200 courses and 20 programmes taught in English.
The staff at the Faculty of Technology help students with the academic part of their exchange studies and other international possibilities. We can answer questions such as:
- When is the best time to abroad in your specific programme?
- Which agreements do we have within specific subjects or within the faculty?
- Which kind of courses can you take abroad and how can you transfer the credits when you come back home?
We help you to establish a Learning Agreement, approve the document and help you to transfer the credits from courses you passed abroad and register them in Ladok.
Every autumn (October/November) we visit program students in their classrooms to inform about international possibilities. Every spring (April/May) we invite all students who have been nominated for exchange studies to take part in a preparatory meeting, in which we go through for example how to write a Learning Agreement.
In our page on MyMoodle you find more information.
