The Job Ready programme is a programme for international students and international PhD students at Linnaeus University that aims to stay and work in Sweden. The programme gives the participants an insight on how the Swedish labour market works and how to apply for jobs in Sweden. What is the Job ready programme?
The job ready programme is an exracurricular activity for international students and international PhD students at Linneaus University. The programme is based on 7 occasions where we will talk about the Swedish labour market, how to apply for a job in Sweden, how to write a CV and cover letter for the Swedish labour market and much more. The goal is that you will be prepared and feel more confident to enter the Swedish labour market.
The programme is not a guarantee that you will be offered a job.
Participants are expected to put time and effort into the program, you should have the opportunity to participate in each meeting.
The program will not give you any credits and is given outside your studies.
You will receive a certificate that you have participated in the programme (to get the certificate you need to have had a high precence).
All meetings will be in English and located at campus in Växjö.
There is a limited amount of participants that are selected through the application process.
The programme is of course free of charge.
Who can apply?
If you are an international student or an international Phd-student at Linnaeus University and are planning to stay and work Sweden, you can apply for the Job Ready Programme. You are required to participate all sessions on site on campus in Växjö. Apply latest 18th of Septemer, to join the programme in the fall of 2022.
