Welcome to a day that will allow you to carve out research time for the upcoming 12 months.
Below you register for your participation in the IMS Research Labs.
The research lab is IRL and compulsory for all members who receive funding from IMS. PhD students and post-docs and affiliate members are warmly welcome to attend.

“Stafettseminarium” – 2 minutes pitching your NEW research plans for 2026-2027 (funded members only)
Research planning in our four labs:
What you need:
Pen and paper (for focus).
Planning 1 year ahead.
Develop an action plan (quick brainstorm). What do you want to do more of? What will you need to do less of?
Hacks: a) limit number of job travels; b) limit number of peer reviews, c) create a “no”-document to list everything you have said “no” to to get more research time for yourself.

Now it’s time to plan the autumn term 2025 in more detail.

14-15 Plenary: What will be the core IMS research in 2026-2027? How can we work on it together?
