Sammanfattning/Abstract
Professor number 7 in Kalmar, William Hogland, has 50 years experience within the Academy including 25 years as professor. He has supervised 23 PhD candidates to doctor degree in environmental science and Engineering mainly in water and waste management but also supervised numerous MSc/BSc students.
William will tell you about his experiences in the academic life, teaching and research, as well as long time cooperation with trade and industry. What can he tell/recommend you for your future carrier?
In the case he should have the possibility to start up his carrier from the beginning again should he then go for a new full professor chair?
He will also briefly talk about his research nationally and internationally. He has experiences of teaching and research in 65 countries.
