Magnus Carlsson beviljades 2.000.000 kronor från Jan Wallanders och Tom Hedelius stiftelse och Tore Browaldhs stiftelse för projektet "Living conditions from adolescence to old age for people with disabilities: A life-cycle analysis of working life, education, health, and family". I projektet ingår även Dan-Olof Rooth och Stefan Eriksson.
