Lunchföreläsning i hållbar utveckling och lika villkor på FKH: Decolonizing design processes

The design duo Camilla Guzman Soriano and Emma Parsmo in Fem2design began their collaborative journey during their studies at Design + Change at Linnaeus University.

Through artistic and experimental processes with interacting perspectives based in feminist, queer and decolonizing practices, Fem2design seeks to challenge dominant oppressive structurers that contribute to forms of unsustainability and inequality in the world today.

By presenting a selection of projects, they want to give examples of how design can be used as a tool to actively break up patterns and behaviors that originate in colonial approaches and open up the conversation of how decolonial mindsets can be applied on academic culture, across disciplines and in everyday life."
