Successful Master Thesis Defense by Husna Alderazi in Physics

We are pleased to announce that Husna Alderazi, student in the Linnaeus University master program in physics has successfully defended her master thesis at the University of Insubria, Italy, as part of the recently renewed double master’s degree agreement.

Husna distinguished herself as the second-best student during the defense session, achieving an impressive final grade of 109/110 in the Italian grading system, equivalent to an A in the ECTS scale.

Hailing from Bahrain and working in the pearl industry, Husna pursued a physics education with a focus on solid state physics, aiming to apply scientific methods to the evaluation of pearl attributes. Through the collaboration with Insubria, she conducted photoluminescence studies that contributed to the success of her project. Her supervisors commended her independence and determination throughout the research process.
