Jag undervisar i fysik och astronomi, bland annat inom lärarutbildningen och optikerutbildningen.
Våren 2009 disputerade jag i astropartikelfysik. Jag arbetade med AMANDA: ett neutrinoteleskop som byggts på Sydpolen där glaciärisen utgör en central del av teleskopet. Min egen forskning gick ut på att söka efter magnetiska monopoler och andra partiklar vars existens ännu inte bekräftats experimentellt.
Idag forskar jag i fysikens didaktik.
Utöver doktorsexamen har jag gymnasielärarexamen i fysik och matematik (1993).
