Dagmar Brunow

Jag har undervisat i filmvetenskap sedan 1999 vid olika universitet och högskolor (Växjö, Lund, Halmstad), bl a Filmens historia, World Cinema, Europeisk film, Dokumentärfilm; Film, genus och etnicitet samt handlett uppsatser. Jag har även regelbundet undervisat i genusvetenskap vid Södertörns Högskola.
Distanskursen "Att forska med film som redskap" har jag utvecklat jag tillsammans med Anna Sofia Rossholm. Den ges i samverkan med Akademin Valand i Göteborg from vt18. I den utforskas videoessän som metod för akademisk publicering, som teoretisk instrument och som verktyg för konstnärlig forskning.
Forskning
Aktuella forskningsprojekt är:
1) VR-projekt "Den rörliga bildens kulturarv. Mångfald och minne i digitala filmarkiv" (2016-2018)
Inom ramen för mitt VR-projekt undersöker jag hur Svenska Filminstitutet (SFI) och British Film Institute (BFI) bidrar till att skapa ett kulturarv som tar vara på samhällets mångfald.

3) Dessutom ingår jag i LNUs forskarnätverk kring Face of Aids-arkivet i Stockholm. Till arkivets hemsida har jag kurerat en virtuell utställning om global Aids-aktivism utifrån Staffan Hildebrands filmer från Face of Aids-arkivet.
