Emilio Audissino
DOCENTJag är en film- och medieforskare och en filmmusikolog. Jag publicerade The Film Music of John Williams: Reviving Hollywood’s Classical Style (University of Wisconsin Press, 2021, andra reviderade och utökade upplagan av den 2014 utgivna boken John Williams's Film Music), som är den första boklängdsstudien på engelska om den kända Hollywood–kompositören. Jag var också redaktör för essäsamlingen John Williams: Music for Films, Television, and the Concert Stage (Brepols, 2018). Min bok Film/Music Analysis: A Film Studies Approach (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017) handlar om en metod för audiovisuell analys som blandar neoformalism och gestaltpsykologi, och min Film Music in Concert. The Pioneering Role of the Boston Pops Orchestra (Cambridge University Press, 2021) är en studie av filmmusik som en repertoar för konserter och för multimediaevenemang. Min nuvarande forskning handlar om film- och tevekomedier av trion Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker.
