Goran Basic
DocentGoran Basic är docent i sociologi och universitetslektor i pedagogik vid institutionen för pedagogik och lärande, Linnéuniversitetet. Som forskare har han studerat sociala och pedagogiska processer samt samverkan mellan olika aktörer i skola, universitet, ungdomsvård, socialt arbete, polis och kustbevakning. Han har även skrivit om efterkrigssamhället och försoning efter kriget, utvärderat flera projekt i ungdomsvården, samt analyserat Polisens praktik i Östersjöområdet, erfarenheter som relaterats av ungdomar som upplevt krig och sedan placerats på HVB i Sverige, liksom erfarenheter som relaterats av institutionspersonal som dagligen arbetat med dessa ungdomar. I skolkontexten har analyser fokuserat på utsatta kategorier av elever såsom nyanlända elever och elever som brukar alkohol och narkotika. Särskild analytisk fokus i Basics forskning är på kontextens funktioner och dess påverkan på den icke-professionella aktören i relationen (barn, ungdom, elev, student, klient, brukare, förälder, resenär, misstänkt, civil, flykting, fånge). Basic är engagerad i flera samverkansprojekt tillsammans med aktörer inom och utanför universitetsvärlden.
Undervisning
Sociologi, utbildningsvetenskap, pedagogik, utbildningssociologi, kriminologi, socialt arbete, socialpedagogik, behandlingspedagogik, specialpedagogik, vetenskapsteori, forskningsmetod, freds- och konfliktvetenskap, socialpsykologi, Balkans historia, lärarutbildning, forskarutbildning, handledare för studenter och doktorander.
Basic har varit kursansvarig lärare på olika akademiska utbildningsnivåer samt varit ordinarie ledamot i Ledningsgruppen för kandidatprogram i kriminologi vid Lunds universitet och för kandidatprogram i socialpedagogik vid Linnéuniversitetet samt i Handledarkollegium i pedagogik vid Linnéuniversitetet. Basics undervisning har innefattat kurs-, planerings- och utvärderingsansvar, föreläsningar, handledning av studenter och doktorander samt examination av individuella uppgifter och grupparbeten.
Forskning
För närvarande arbetar Basic på studier av:
- tidiga samordnade insatser för barn som kan utsättas för eller hamna i kriminalitet;
- intressen och förutsättningar för vidare studier på universitetsnivå i relation till: närhet till studier, akademisk miljö, utbud av utbildning och närvaro av forskning;
- framgångar, hinder, samverkan och identiteter i gymnasieskolans arbete med elever som brukar alkohol och narkotika;
- möjligheter, hinder, identiteter och samverkan i gymnasieskolans arbete med nyanlända elever;
- berättelser från ungdomar som har upplevt krig, flytt till Sverige, omhändertagits och placerats på institutioner, institutionspersonalens berättelser om det dagliga arbetet med omhändertagna ungdomar som har erfarenheter av krig.
