Min forskning innefattar marknads- och teknikstrategifrågor. Jag är främst intresserad av hur marknadsaspekter påverkar utvecklingen av teknik och produkter - i korthet hur tekniken når marknadens acceptans. I min forskning intresserar jag mig också projektorganisation, och har där främst fokuserat på utvecklingsprojekt. Ett andra forskningfält rör dynamiken inom affärsnätverk. I detta forskningsprojekt ligger fokus på de effekter som förvärv och fusioner har på kunder och leverantörer. Jag är ledamot i samarbetsrådet för the Bridge – ett strategiskt samarbete mellan IKEA och Linnéuniversitetet. Ett program för entreprenörskap, innovation och produktion – för att skapa en bättre vardag i hemmet för de många människorna. Ett flervetenskapligt forsknings- och utbildningssamarbete om livet hemma och produktionens villkor.
