Jag är lektor i biokemisk metodik och bedriver forskning i samarbete med Prof Cornelia Witthöft (livsmedelsvetenskap). Jag har en kemistexamen från Stockholms Universitet och en bakgrund inom läkemedelsindustrin (Astra, Kabi, SBL) och en bred kemisk kompetens. Jag är särskilt intresserad av instrumentella metoder som masspektrometri, gaskromatografi och vätskekromatografi.
Undervisning
Jag är programansvarig för kandidatprogrammet Nutrition och livsmedelsvetenskap (NutriLivs) och undervisar bland annat på kurser inom allmän kemi, biokemi, livsmedelskemi och livsmedelsanalytisk kemi. Jag handleder examensarbeten på BMA-programmet och NutriLivs-programmet och är kursansvarig/examinator för examensarbeten i kemi på grundnivå (15 hp), och flera andra kurser.
Forskning
Jag är medlem i forskningsgruppen för livsmedelsvetenskap som leds av Cornelia Witthöft. Jag är även associerad till forskningsgrupperna "ekologisk kemi" som leds av Prof Rikard Unelius. Min aktuella forskning är inriktad mot utveckling av analyser för mikronäringsämnen och fytokemikalier, och hur innehållet av dessa kan optimeras i livsmedel.
Uppdrag
Jag är skyddsombud för KOB (kemi och biomedicin) och Ordförande i Sulf lokalförening vid Linnéuniversitetet.
