Affilierad forskareMy previous research focused on healthcare quality and safety, health information technology, and medical imaging with the aim to 1) review patient safety and quality improvement literature in medical imaging for identifying the effectiveness of improvement strategies, 2) obtain a general overview of patient safety in medical imaging through collection and analysis of incident reports using the International Classification for Patient Safety, and 3) focus on health information technology (HIT) related patient safety issues through the lens of HIT Classification System (HIT-CS), the 18-steps of the imaging workflow process and thematic analysis.
My present research aims at providing insights into different testbeds' functions and their various factors, such as facilitating, challenging, and ameliorating factors. Viewing the testbeds' organizations under the norm of complexity science (complexity theory and CAS) offers explanations about how various aspects of the testbeds are challenged and how they adapt to overcome and improve system issues. This ultimately helps us evaluate the need and design a framework for testbeds in the context of eHealth in the Kalmar region, which can further help establish networks with other organizations and companies for the exchange and development of eHealth services.
I have been involved in professional teaching with eight years of experience in a range of dynamic education environments, such as teaching at the university level and adult education at in Australia and Sweden.
