Miriam is a dedicated Ph.D. candidate in psychology at Linnaeus University, focusing her research on music psychology and cognition. Her current doctoral project explores the potential of regular choral singing as a health-enhancing practice for elderly individuals. In this endeavor, her research delves into the examination of structural and neural changes in the brain, alongside investigating alterations in memory functions as a consequence of consistent engagement in singing.
Complementing her commitment to psychology, Miriam also holds an MSC degree in engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
