Miriam is a dedicated Ph.D. candidate in psychology at Linnaeus University, focusing her research on music psychology and cognition. Her current doctoral project explores the potential of regular choral singing as a health-enhancing practice for elderly individuals. In this endeavor, her research delves into the examination of structural and neural changes in the brain, alongside investigating alterations in memory functions as a consequence of consistent engagement in singing. 

Complementing her commitment to psychology, Miriam also holds an MSC degree in engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. Her research trajectory underscores her aspiration to traverse conventional disciplinary confines, with a specific emphasis on interweaving the realms of science and technology.
