Dr. Elm, associate professor at Linnaeus University, obtained his PhD in 2007 from Blekinge Institute of Technology in Computer Science. His skills and expertise are focused on information security and information quality within the context of information flows in organizations.

Dr. Elm's interest in information security is shaped by his background in both military and academic education. His research and teaching concentrate on information security in the public sector, utilizing systems thinking to address organizational complexity, and exploring the implications of human and technical aspects on information security and quality.

With long leadership experience in the academic sector, Dr. Elm has served as head of department and led various development and implementation projects. He has experience in organizational development, facilitating international university collaborations, and delivering education in both Sweden and abroad. Additionally, he serves as a co-supervisor for multiple PhD students and has been a member of PhD exam committees. Dr. Elm has published in international journals and conferences, acted as a session leader, and serves as a reviewer for international conferences and journals.
