I have a background as a registered psychiatric nurse and as manager in health care and head of administration in social care. I am also board member in several national non-profit organizations for development of nursing-/psychiatric care. My research is mainly about social processes and power when healthcare personal meets patients and clients in vulnerable situations. Furthermore I am former head of Department of Health and Caring Science (2017-2024) and since January 2025 I hold a position as Vice-dean at the Faculty for Health and Life Sciences. Areas of responsibility is primely internationalization, collaboration and strategic education tasks. I also holds the Chair in the Faculty internationalization council.
