Reza Arjmand
DocentA comparative and international educationist by training, Reza works with education and everyday life at the Department of Education and Teachers' Practice. Prior to joining Linnaeus University, Reza has taught and conducted research at the Department of Sociology and Centre for Middle Eastern Studies in Lund University, Sweden; Department of International and Transcultural Studies, Teachers College and Institute of Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University in New York, the United States.
His research interests include education and everyday life (urban segregations, sexualities and public space), education of Muslims at home and diaspora and computer aided qualitative data analysis (CAQDAS). He has conducted a number of studies and published books and articles on everyday life and education of Muslims in various Muslim countries and among Muslim communities in the West.
