Saleha Sharifi is from Afghanistan and works as a SAR-Researcher at Linnaeus University. She has a PhD in Religious Studies, focusing on Quranic interpretation, semantics, and comparative religious studies. Saleha has taught at universities in Afghanistan and has conducted research in her fields. In addition to academic work, she has had cultural activities among Afghan women. After the Taliban seized power, she could no longer continue her work and had to leave the country. She has been in Sweden for over a year and is currently working at the Department of Cultural Sciences.

Most of Saleha's research has been in the field of religious studies, focusing on interpretation, comparative studies, and semantic field theory. She has also conducted research on women's issues.
