Tamara Ann Tinner is a PhD student in history in the Global Humanities Programme of the Faculty of Arts. She is also a member of the Linnaeus University Centre for Concurrences in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies and of the research Cluster for Colonial Connections and Comparisons. Her PhD project "Fashioning Philippine Muslim Indigeneity and the Multifaceted Indigenous Archive" explores the complexities of Philippine Muslim Indigeneity within the context of socio-economic changes in the 19th and 20th century. Her research interests include the history of the Philippine Muslim South, history of Southeast Asia, gender, historical anthropology, material and visual culture, methods and theories in history.
