Business Models for the Tourism Industry

Participants will learn what a business model is and how it can benefit them as a tool and mindset for management and innovation in tourism and related industries.

As a tool, the business model enables a systematic and holistic perspective on value creation that enables cooperation along tourism value chains.

Participants should have a basic understanding of economic and business concepts; are expected to have good comprehension of (and preferably should be able to express themselves in) English. Anyone with a general interest in how the tourism sector and the visitor economy create and capture value from activities is welcome. Participants with managerial responsibility and entrepreneurs are more likely to be able to directly transfer course contents to their professional setting.

Detta är en fristående modul i ett utbildningspaket för besöksnäringen. Paketet består av olika moduler och du kan läsa en eller flera. Deltagandet är utan kostnad för den enskilde tack vare en donation från Familjen Kamprads stiftelse.
