Environmental Safety Day – Including a Special Talk on PFAS
Are you concerned about environmental safety and chemical risks in everyday life and at work? Join us for a day of information and training on environmental safety, also featuring a special lecture by an expert on PFAS. The event includes an optional workshop on risk assessment for those working in laboratory settings.
The first part of this event provides fundamental knowledge on environmental safety, featuring a guest lecture by an external expert from the Swedish Food Agency on PFAS – a group of chemicals impacting water, food, and health.
After lunch, participants will have the opportunity to join a workshop on risk assessment, available at either the Kalmar or Växjö campus. You are welcome to attend both sessions or choose either of the two half-day activities.
