At the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences research is conducted biology, environmental science, chemistry, biochemistry, optometry, psychology, e-health and health sciences.
Two of the university's excellence groups Linnaeus University Centres (LNUC) are among our faculty: Linnaeus University Centre for Ecology and Evolution in Microbial model Systems (EEMiS) and Linnaeus University Centre for Biomaterials Chemistry. These are quality checked by specific groups consisting of internationally recognized scholars in the field, which guarantees the highest quality and that the research environment reaches up to high standards.
