Targeting P. aeruginosa with Antivirulence and Metal-based Approaches

On January 12, Professor Olof Ramström will be a guest speaker in the Department of Chemistry and Biomedicine seminar series.

Titel

Targeting P. aeruginosa with Antivirulence and Metal-based Approaches

Lecturer

Olof Ramström received his MSc and PhD degrees from Lund Institute of Technology/Lund University, Sweden. After a period at the Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg, France, working with Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn, he returned to Sweden and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, where he established a research program focusing on dynamic and supramolecular chemistry, synthesis and catalysis, chemical nanotechnology, and chemical microbiology. He is currently active at University of Massachusetts, Lowell, USA, and affiliated with Linnaeus University, Sweden, where he continues his interdisciplinary research at the interfaces between chemistry, materials science, and biology. Olof Ramström is an inducted member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA) and a member of the Nobel Committee for Chemistry.

The seminar is held via Zoom at this link.
